Our financing policy
Raising funds to carry out CELS’ mission responds to the strategic goals previously established by the organization. International cooperation has traditionally been the main source of financing for our activities – funds from private foundations and development cooperation agencies or foreign embassies in Argentina. Since 2017, CELS has an individual giving program and we aim to broaden this support base in the coming years, as part of a process to diversify our funds.
CELS does not accept nor will it accept funds from national or international political parties, and it maintains financial independence from all governments, national or international. The organization does not receive financing from the Argentine state, unless these funds can be obtained through an open and competitive process.
